Total cost of ownership (TCO) is a main concern of every company operating Step-Tec spindles as an integral part of machine tools. This in mind our responsibility is not limited to be a manufacturer and supplier of spindles and sub-assemblies for the worldwide machine tool industry, but must cover the services of maintenance and repair during the entire working life of our products.
As part of a development project Step-Tec closely works with the machine tool manufacturer for the integration of Step-Tec spindles into the machine tool. Our service covers technical sales, consulting and co-development of the spindle or sub-assembly to perfectly suit the needs of the machine tool project. Step-Tec is set-up to actively participate in the first time integration of the spindle into the machine tool on site at the manufacturer facilities. Our specialized field service is available to support the machine tool manufacturer on site at pilot customers of new machine tool developments.
As a partner for maintenance and repair of Step-Tec spindles our after sales support offers the Step-Tec Service Academy to train the machine tool manufacturer's after sales service staff, our sales partners or the maintenance staff of companies operating Step-Tec spindles.
The Step-Tec Hotline supports machine tool manufacturer's after sales service staff or the maintenance staff of companies operating Step-Tec spindles.
The Step-Tec Service Academy offers standard and customized training for the after sales service staff of machine tool manufacturers, our sales partners or specialized maintenance staff of companies operating Step-Tec spindles as an integral part of machine tools.
Step-Tec’s unique serviSTEP program offers a comprehensive repair and replacement concept for Step-Tec spindles and sub-assemblies, as well as the spare parts required for scheduled maintenance or on site repair of minor damages. These services are either offered direct by Step-Tec or indirect through the machine tool manufacturer.
The Step-Tec market place offers components such as spindle bearings or drawbars, sometimes new or factory refurbished spindles at reduced prices.
