Step-Tec AG is a certified company!

In December 2003 we had our Management System successfully certified by the Swiss Federation for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) according to the standards: ISO 9001:2008 (Quality management system) and ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental management system)
In addition, part of certification is the integration of the provisions of the normative OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational safety and health managements system)

Since our management system is an integral part of our business processes, Step-Tec AG is re-certified according to the latest standards of SQS and IQNET. The current certificate was issued April 1st, 2010, valid until March 31st, 2013.

We care about recourses

We not only offer “green spindles” where applicable, like the environmentally-friendly continuous grease lubricating system, we also want to save as much energy and recourses when manufacturing motor spindles and sub-assemblies.

Step-Tec covers an annually increasing part of energy consumption from AEK EcoPower Utility Company, a supplier of energy from renewable resources like water, wind and solar power. Besides having to pay slightly more for this ecologically generated form of energy, Step-Tec contributes its share in saving recourses today.
